13-06-2020 : Santa Maria de Besora

Santa Maria de Besora is a charming little village located 20 minutes from Vic and wedged in the middle of the middle mountains.
Only insiders travel there to start a hike, take a break on the bar terrace or enjoy a good meal at the restaurant "Els bufadors".

The village is relatively small, without particularity or pretensions but very quiet, surrounded by the hills and the adjoining forests.

After parking quite easily, head to the restaurant "Els Bufadors" for lunch, with reservation.
The place is not very big but cordial and retains its authentic aspect. The main, rustic room is an old bread oven with restored millstone. The choice of dishes is varied and the food, traditional and Catalan is of very good quality.
